The School is a delightful independent standalone prep school for boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 13 set in 260 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. The school has a proud record of feeding many of the top day and boarding schools in the South East, with a large proportion of leaving students achieving scholarships and awards.
They are currently looking for the following to work in their Holiday/ After School Club
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with small groups of children in adult directed activities
- Helping prepare for each session e.g. setting out toys, photocopying, collecting materials
- Serving meals and daily snacks
- Ensuring the premise is kept clean and tidy
Depending on your specific role you will need the following:
- Experience working with children and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care, or equivalent
- Sensitivity and caring to the needs of young children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
- Paediatric First Aid Qualification
- The commitment to work a minimum number of sessions each holiday
