Job Title: Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Days based – 8am-5pm)
This company is a leading Rice and Pasta business in the UK (part of a larger Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.
They are looking for a qualified Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at their Rice & Pulses Mill in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the suitable candidate will be apprentice trained, and preferably qualified to a min BTEC ONC level (NVQ level 3), in a relevant Electro – Mechanical engineering discipline, although an ability to multi skill is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in
- Preventative maintenance
- Attending to breakdowns
- New machinery installations
- Projects
As well as the qualifications/standards mentioned above, you will need to be
- Competent with electrical, PLC and pneumatics tasks
- Demonstrate good fabrication skills
- Good at problem solving
Relevant experience in milling / food industry is preferred, though applications from candidates with experience in other relevant industries are welcomed.
This is a role whereby you will be working on your own and in a team; someone versatile and dynamic would be advantageous.
