Job Title: Team Assistant

Location: Milton Park, Oxfordshire

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience

Type: Full Time, Fixed-term Contract (12 months)

The company, based at Milton Park, provides comprehensive logistics solutions at all stages of the supply chain. They pride themselves on exceeding client expectations and are looking for likeminded people to join their team. They are well-established, highly respected and specialise in supporting clients in the medical manufacturing industry.

Job Role

This is a hugely varied role and an exciting opportunity to apply and develop your administrative skills and gain experience in specialist areas. You will be joining a friendly team in an open plan office environment with free on-site parking and great public transport links from Didcot.

You will be responsible for general office administration, providing ad hoc assistance to Directors, supporting the Finance Manager and HR Project Coordinator with day to day tasks and project work, as well as having the opportunity to work with the experienced EHSQ and Commercial Manager on various initiatives. An eye for detail and the ability to work with confidentiality and discretion are essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintaining company and employee records
  • Assisting with a range of projects including archiving and new software implementation
  • Supporting managers with payroll, HR and compliance administration
  • Ensuring company processes and best practices are adhered to
  • Letter writing, document preparation and other administrative tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Administrative experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Show willingness to learn new processes and software
  • A positive attitude to your work
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Confidentiality is absolutely vital as you will be processing sensitive and personal information
  • Experience of compliance or document control would be beneficial
