They aim to continually go beyond expectations for their clients and their customers. Each year they process over four million insurance claims, saving leading insurers tens of millions of pounds.
The Role
They are searching for a Water Engineer Labourer to join their team of Leak Detection and Repair Specialists (find and fix). You will be working with their domestic customers, often they are unaware of water leaks until they are informed by the Water companies, and they step in to locate and repair the leak.
You may need to excavate and repair the water service and pipes – with minimal disruption to the customer – following your initial detection of the leak. Their promise to customers is that they will accurately locate the water leak to one square meter, so any excavation is to a minimum when the pipes are repaired. This is the challenge of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evidence of previous experience of water or ground works
- Photos of works carried out by yourself or part of team
- Self-motivation and ability to use initiative
- Strong work ethic and flexible attitude
- Passion for good customer service
- Ability to demonstrate friendly professionalism with customers and clients
- You must have a current UK driving licence and be a holder of a National Water Hygiene Card (EUSR)
The Candidate:
- Moling – 20mm to 32mm service laying including the creation of new ‘Point of Entry’ (we will give you training on this)
- Basic cold feed plumbing (Hepworth/Speed Fit and Copper pipework)
- WRAS Accreditation (WIAPS)
