Job Title: Automation Application Engineer
Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The company are a growing Robotics and Automation distribution company based in their new Head Office in Shefford, Bedfordshire. They’re looking for an experienced full-time Automation Application Engineer.
The Role:
- Customer facing role to provide application support to sales team
- Customer training
- Customer technical support
- Feasibility studies
- Maintenance of in-house demonstration equipment
- Attend customer site to service and repair automation equipment
- Carry out on-site demonstrations
About your knowledge, skills and experience:
- Industrial Robot programming (e.g., Kawasaki, Denso, Mitsubishi)
- Application engineering
- Previous installation/engineering – desirable
- PLC Programming – desirable
- Clean driving licence
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Technical aptitude
- Good organisational skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Desire to produce high quality work
- Strong communicator
- Ability to learn and take on new technical skills
