Job Title: Stores Executive

Location: Yiewsley, West Drayton

Salary: £20,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 17:30)

Main Purpose:

You will be actively involved ensuring that all warehouse processes and procedures are followed to ensure a high degree of inventory accuracy is maintained at all times i.e. stock integrity is constantly at a high level.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure goods are booked in using an in-house system
  • Deal with all stock issues, including the replenishment of Engineers’ spares (kits or boot stock)
  • Keep all areas in Stores tidy, clearly defined and labelled accordingly
  • Effectively communicate to stakeholders when spares are despatched
  • Ensure that stock is secure at all times and only handled by authorised personnel
  • Ensure that all goods received are booked in on the day of receipt
  • Carry out any other ad hoc tasks reasonably required by management

The Successful Candidate:

Knowledge/Skills

  • Analytically minded with a keen focus on problem solving
  • Knowledge of materials handling and Stores environments
  • Ability to use Inventory Control Systems
  • Have an understanding of Microsoft Office Package – Excel and Outlook
  • A background in logistics with experience in stores, material handling and goods in preferred
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment while delivering to targets
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties on a day-to-day basis
  • Receptive to training and continuous improvement
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • FLT Counter Balance License Holder
