The Company is a fourth-generation family business that has been at the forefront of the timber industry for over 90 years. Operating on the global stage, they supply machines to a wide variety of customers from furniture makers to house builders from their headquarters in Kirkby.
The Role:
They’re looking for a well organised, dynamic individual to join their offsite construction department as an administrator.
Working within the MBA team you will be responsible for a number of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Providing a first point of contact with customers
- Ordering spare parts
- Co-ordinating technical assistance from both the UK and Netherlands
- Liaising with engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure smooth running of projects

About you:
Whilst no specific industry experience is required for this role, candidates would be expected to have worked in a similar customer facing role for a minimum of 5 years.
Preference would be given to those who had worked in a technical support role rather than general customer service.
Key attributes:
- An attention to detail to ensure that all customer requests are dealt with the priority that is necessary
- A calm manner to be able to work under pressure
- IT literate and able to use all forms of modern technology in an appropriate manner
- Non-English language skills not essential, but any additional languages would be beneficial
- Willingness to learn technical software as required
- Whilst the role is office based, occasional travel in the UK and overseas is likely
- Clean driving license and right to work in the UK
- 5 or more GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths
