Job Purpose:
They’ve recently acquired a landlord and tenant practice and are looking to significantly expand in this area. They’re currently looking for a fee earner that specialises in litigated landlord and tenant claims to join the existing team.
The caseload will be from cradle to grave and you will deal with all stages from letter of claim to trial. Therefore, you must be a landlord and tenant litigator who really knows the entire process. You will be expected to manage your own caseload in the role and previous experience of developing a housing disrepair team would be beneficial.

The Candidate:
- Proven billing track record
- Experience of running a litigated landlord and tenant caseload
- Experience of both Part 7 and Part 8 claims.
- Knowledge of Proclaim case management system
- Experience of drafting court papers in tenancy deposit claims
- Knowledge of litigating rent repayment orders
- Ability to provide confident advocacy, both in interim hearings and at trials
- Some experience in developing a new landlord and tenant department would be beneficial
