The Company is an innovative and exciting new brand looking for an experience Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for all the Demand Planning & Logistics. It’s a fast growing start up based in Kew Bridge, London, looking for a team player to come and join a friendly, passionate and very enthusiastic team.
The Role
They operate a Direct to Consumer business through a central warehouse and various retail partners, utilising third party manufacturing and warehousing & distribution. This role will be responsible for managing sourcing, forecasting, production planning, inventory management and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop short, medium and long-term forecasts based on market data, trends and brand sales’ hindsight- covering D2C business and retail partners (B2B)
- Monitor and Manage Inventory levels at Central warehouses and with retail partners
- Manage UK and EU supplier relationships: production planning, product and logistics costs, Just In Time replenishment to manage working capital
- Manage Logistics Suppliers – warehousing and distribution partners to ensure cost effective and efficient stock management and customer delivery (OTIF)
- Reporting of daily, weekly & monthly inventory and replenishment
- Assist in developing production budgets and cost effective initiatives
The Candidate:
Qualification/ Experience required:
- Experience in managing Demand Planning in a consumer environment
- Experience in working with Third Party logistics companies
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting systems.
- Experience in project management
- Experience on overseas export/freight forwarding
Skills required:
- Numerate & analytical ability
- Able to initiate process improvement
- Project & Change Management
- Strategic thinker with a flexible and adaptable approach to the role
- Competent in Excel
- Excellent communication, and presentation skills
Benefits:
- Office based in Kew Bridge, London. Some home working is an option.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday 9pm – 5.30pm. There is an option for flexibility.
- Salary dependent on experience
- 20 days annual leave (plus all public holidays)
