Job Title: Marketing Automation Executive / Specialist
Location: Remote or Office Based (Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Position: Full Time, Permanent (9:00 – 5:30, Monday – Friday)

You will lead the data management and marketing automation initiatives, developing campaigns and segmentation models with the ultimate goals of demand generation, pipeline building and growing customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the data management across the business – segmentation, reporting, hygiene, lead scoring and data compliance
- Ensure all platforms within the business communicate with each other and manage third party connectors to remove discrepancies and duplication in data and marketing activities
- Read integration documentation of systems, modelling their data and designing the optimum data flow between systems
- Design and optimise email marketing campaigns for lead generation, nurture and customer retention
- Evaluate data to develop segmentation models and tailored campaigns
- Design user-centric automated campaigns to nurture prospects through the customer journey and optimise conversion rates
- Manage A/B testing on automated campaigns to maximise results and ROI
- Monitor and measure campaign activity through the funnel using analytics
- Manage unsubscribes and ensure compliance with data regulations, such as GDPR
- Analyse and report on campaigns, leads and conversion rates, providing insights and recommendations
- Monitor data sets consistently to flag bad data, and create processes for colleagues to follow to keep their data clean
- Liaise with sales and customer success teams to build a full sales funnel and maximise customer lifetime value
- Develop process documentation and deliver training for colleagues across the business to ensure best practice is followed
The Candidate:
Essential
- A-levels or Higher Education Degree/Diploma
- Experience in marketing and demand generation
- Understanding of email marketing techniques and best practices
- Proven experience with automation tools and CRM systems
- Knowledge of data analytics
- Experience integrating systems with each other via webhooks and tools such as Zapier to ensure data sync

- Experience in B2B marketing
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
