Job Title: E-Commerce Operational/Warehouse Manager

The Company manufactures both plastic injected moulded houseware and bakeware products in Lancashire.
They are looking for E-commerce operational/warehouse manager to join its fast growing manufacturing direct to consumer internet division.
They are seeking an experienced, highly motivated E-commerce Warehouse General Manager to manage daily warehouse operation; team recruiting and management; training the warehouse staff for shipping orders and directing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage routine e-commerce warehouse tasks include Goods reception, packages organising, shelving, QC & packing, sorting, exceptions handling, inventory management, palletising and shipping
- Responsible for warehouse team build, daily management, staff training and disciplining, and labour coordinating
- Oversee packages handling, shipping volume estimation, warehouse I/O management
- Maintain daily communication with couriers for shipping coordination, cut off time and transit time control
- Maintain daily support operation team expediting exceptional order process
- Achieve warehouse KPI, operation optimisation and cost control goals
- Responsible for warehouse Health safety and fire control
- Continual reviewing, analysing, improving processes and efficiencies
Key Requirements:
Essential:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Manager role in a distribution/warehouse environment
- Knowledgeable of a direct to consumer fulfilment operation
- Demonstrated understanding of WMS
- Strong leadership skills, ability to lead by example and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, tight deadline environment
- Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office)
- Proven organisation skills, attention to detail, follow-through and time management skills
- Strong written/verbal communication skills, analytical, math and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Self motivated individual contributor and team leader
- Passionate about customer care and efficient warehouse management
- Patient and have good interpersonal skills
- Problem solver with a strong ability to identify process flaws
- Able to work overtime occasionally in peak season
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics, or related field or equivalent
- Knowledge of process improvement processes
- Knowledge of WMS’s , Peoplevox, Shipster
