The Company, a long established NICEIC electrical contractor, are looking for an experienced electrician to join their team in Burnley.
The Role
- All aspects of electrical installation work.
- Mostly commercial and industrial but with small amounts of domestic
- Mostly local work in the Lancashire area
- Fault finding and repair work
- Some optional away work (Usually with overtime so it is well paid)
- Working solo or part of small teams
- Overtime often available and paid at time + half
- Van Provided
- 30 Days paid holiday per year
The Candidate:
- Must be highly skilled at installation and a proficient problem solver for fault finding and repair work
- Required to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be skilled in all aspects of electrical installation. Varied skills and experience an advantage.
- You will need to be fully qualified, (City and Guilds, NVQ etc)
- Must have good knowledge of the wiring regulations and the industry best practices
- Able to work without supervision to the highest standards
- Testing and inspection qualifications are an advantage but not essential
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Additional training provided if required such as Inspection and testing, IPAF etc. etc
- CSCS card and other health and safety qualifications such as IPAF licence are also desirable.
- DBS check required for work in Schools / public buildings etc.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues etc. in order to be both efficient and a good representative of the company
