Job Title: Careers Administrator (term-time only)
Hours of work: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.15 am to 2.45 pm, term time only plus one additional week (40 weeks per year). There can be flexibility regarding start and finish times (to be negotiated on offer of employment.)

Salary: The salary for this post will be within the range 18-21 of the pay spine for Support Staff which is currently £17,350 – £18,400 pa (reduced pro rata to £10,305.91 – £10,929.61 pa in accordance with the part time, term time only contract)
The College is an outstandingly successful Sixth Form College with 2,500 16-19 year old students following advanced level courses. They have a long history of exceptional examination results and sits near the top of the national sixth-form college performance tables, meaning it is one of the very best in the country.
The College has a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join the Careers team. The role will be interesting and varied, covering a wide range of duties such as assisting with careers events, managing the careers social media accounts, data analysis and many other administrative tasks. The College is keen to invest in the training and development of staff; following the completion of the probationary period, the College will financially support the post holder to undertake the NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Advice and Guidance. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for the successful post holder to develop their careers skills and experience.

Due to the high level of interaction with students that this role requires, excellent face-to-face people skills and the ability to use Social Media Platforms effectively are also essential.
