Job Title: Catering and Hospitality Manager
Location: Tynemouth, North Shields
Salary: £22,000 to £23,000 per annum
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business and shifts will include weekends and bank holidays

The Role:
As the Catering & Hospitality Manager your primary objective will be to lead your team from the frontline, delivering the highest standards of customer service, food presentation and food safety at all times whilst working closely with the Head office team to ensure the success of the business both on the ground operationally and financially.
This is a varied and very hands on role and the successful candidate should not be afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in whether that’s freshly preparing dishes in the kitchen, operating the dishwasher or on the front line leading the troops with your excellent customer service skills and hospitable approach.

Key Requirements:
Essential
- Catering Management experience, 2 years or more
- Experience of planning, driving and achieving budgeted revenue targets
- Background of using a computer system for ordering and stock control
- Computer skills including word and excel
- A good understanding of Cost of Sale and Margins, Knowledge of Food Health and Safety legislation and regulations
- Strong team leading experience
- A can do attitude, with a passion for great food and drink
- Excellent communication skills
- Great customer service skills and a positive attitude
Desirable
- Experience of running events and functions
- Experience of producing weekly/monthly reports
- Understanding of Spend per Head and how to achieve this.
- Cash handling experience
