Job Title: Maintenance Operative – Superalloy
Location: Bramley, Rotherham
Salary: £22,968 per annum, upwards dependent on experience
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus paid premiums for overtime and weekend working

The Role:
This is a dynamic and challenging role which requires flexibility in ability to respond to customer and business needs often at short notice, excellent communication and team working.
This role requires the successful applicant to support and assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the company’s physical infrastructure and carrying out maintenance project work, and to support Works colleagues by working within the Works as and when required.
All candidates must be currently eligible to both live and work in the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate maintenance schedules and carry out planned maintenance
- Maintain processing equipment
- Identify areas of process improvement and perform troubleshooting
- Ensure safety and functionality of electrical systems
- Manage purchasing costs for maintenance and repair spares and equipment
- Establish and maintain appropriate records of maintenance
- Assisting in the Works in processing and repackaging materials
- Identify and report non-conformities in outgoing materials
- Use of forklift truck
- Conforming to company health and safety procedures and policies
Key Requirements:
Essential
- Experience in a maintenance role or relevant training qualifications
- Electrical qualifications or comparable experience
- Mechanical engineering qualifications or comparable experience
- Good standard of written English (GCSE or equivalent) and good communication skills
- Good standard of mathematics (GCSE or equivalent)
- Computer literate, including use of Microsoft Office and e-mail
- Eligible to both live and work in the United Kingdom
Desirable
- Forklift truck licence – Preferred but training is available
