Job Title: Field Service Engineer

The Company provides maintenance, repairs, installation, and refurbish work to school gyms, playgrounds and sports halls mainly in the South East and Midlands.

The Role:
- Travelling to customer sites e.g. schools, colleges, military establishments and leisure centre
- Inspect and report on, maintain and repair all gymnasium, sports hall and exercise equipment
- Install new equipment such as climbing frames, basketball goals, sports hall netting
- Refurbish and court mark sports floors
You will be required to stay away occasional week days to minimise travel and work occasional weekends at busy periods in school holidays and half terms
The Candidate:
- Have practical experience in a general maintenance or installation role (similar to equipment or building maintenance or construction experience)
- Experience using hand tools, basic woodworking, fixing and fitting and basic arc welding (specific training will be provided in all areas)
- Be able to work at heights on a tower
- A clean and valid driving licence is essential
- Need to be CRB checked and have the necessary permits to work in the UK
- A PASMA certificate would be helpful but not essential as you would be trained on the relevant course
- Ideally located near the M3/M4/M40 corridors up to 80 miles from London

Salary range is c £25-29k plus pension, vehicle and overtime but negotiable depending on your experience and any relevant qualifications.
