Job Title: Trainee Telecom Engineer
Location: Bridgend
Salary: £16,000 – £20,000
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
They are a well-established, award winning Telecommunications Company based in Bridgend and their primary focus is to ensure the best customer service possible.
An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our thriving organisation as a trainee telecom engineer. As a member of the engineering team you will have excellent customer service skills matched with a practical and solution-based approach to all customer requirements. You will have a basic understanding of business telecoms and telephone systems. You will be comfortable working as part of a team with a view to work on your own with a customer focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing telephone systems for clients
- Conducting one on one / group and remote training with clients on all of the products
- Working with various departments throughout the Company to ensure the best customer experience for our clients
- Attending client sites to resolve faults when they are raised to the in-house support team
- Developing your knowledge on the products and services to be able to upsell to clients
- Providing 1st class customer service to all customers both face to face and over the phone
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- IT skills
- Ability to work to deadlines with good time management
- Keen to learn new technologies and willing to develop through self-learning
- Based in South Wales Full UK driving license
- Ability to use hand and power tools
Desired but not essential:
- Knowledge of telecoms systems
- Experience in installing phone systems
- Basic understanding of networking
