Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Potters Bar
Salary: £12,500-£16,000 pro rata (FTE)
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent (5 days a week, 6 hours a day)
The Company, a fast-growing IT/Telephony solutions provider based in Potters Bar, are looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist their Management Team. Working under the HR / Office Manager, you will be provided with full training and support.
The company support clients across the UK, and the world, with Cloud based solutions. They provide multi-source managed service solutions, bringing together a portfolio of companies with a range of complimentary services, covering IT Managed Services, Cloud Solutions, Unified Communications, Mobility, Connectivity, Security and Strategic Consultancy. Typically, the Company works with engaged, energetic, culturally aware, businesses who want to use Technology to enable growth and development. They share a common ethos of partnership with clients and colleagues; passionately focusing on customers’ needs, acting responsibly and with integrity.
Main duties will include:
- Managing documents including filing, photocopying, scanning and shredding
- Arranging courier / postal services (including opening and distributing post)
- Ensuring that the office supplies are stocked regularly
- Ensuring the meeting room is kept tidy
- Learning about and providing support for the company’s systems such as AutoTask
- General administrative and business support for the Management Team
- Please note that this is a varied role and there will be ad-hoc tasks that arise
- There is a lot of scope for the role to grow and as such there is opportunity for your duties to grow over time
- Basic Administration for the accounts system – Xero
- Working up to EA level for the CEO
Key Requirements:
- Confident with using Microsoft Office
- Confident approach to undertaking administrative tasks
- Happy to help when other areas may require your attention
- Pro-active
- Used to dealing with tasks via telephone and email
- Confident approach to undertaking administrative tasks
- Confident in communicating with staff at all levels
- Well organised and able to multitask
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Great work ethic
- An organised way of working
- Should be keen to learn
- Experience of working in a similar role supporting a team would be advantageous
