The Company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of rehabilitation, recovery and sports performance products, distributing a comprehensive product portfolio to hospitals and local authorities, private therapists, mobility shops, high street retailers, pharmacies, internet traders and International distributors.
They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Despatch Shift Manager to join theteam in Huthwaite.
Key Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will manage the Domestic, Key Account and International despatch teams ensuring that the operation is safe, and performs in line with agreed productivity targets, whilst delivering a high standard of customer service.
You will ensure that the operation runs efficiently, meeting or exceeding KPIs for productivity and quality. You will ensure the highest standards in relation to health and safety and ISO standards while ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. You will also be responsible for other areas of the International Distribution Centre (IDC) during the shift. You will assist in the management of distribution partners and work to continuously improve customer service, working with both internal and external customers. This will require you to provide direction and support to your own team while collaborating with other areas of the IDC, maximising use of their WMS and other IT systems.
The successful Candidate will have/ be:
To be successful you will need extensive logistics management experience in a fast moving environment, with proven strong negotiation and relationship building skills. You will have excellent IT skills, ideally including Microsoft and ERP Netsuite or similar. You will be able to analyse data and review trends. You will have experience of leading and developing teams and be able to demonstrate an ability to constructively challenge existing practise, in a high quality, safe environment. You will be results orientated with a focus on continuous improvement.
