Job Title: Deputy Chief Executive

They are currently looking to recruit a Deputy to the Chief Executive who will be responsible for the commercial growth of the Company and the leadership of a management team.
The Role
- Direct and oversee the delivery of structured operational plans with a particular focus on growing market share and increasing income
- Instil an entrepreneurial approach throughout the organisation to ensure support business growth
- Develop, lead and implement a culture throughout the organisation that embraces effective partnership working, working closely with the CEO to develop strategic partnership arrangements
- Promote the Company and its strategic plan across the Education and Skills sector and decision makers as a leading Awarding Body, characterised by excellent qualifications, units and services
- Work with the CEO to ensure the Company fulfils its legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities
- Deputise for the CEO as required across the full span of organisational responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the charity is led effectively, and able to deliver services effectively and efficiently
- Support the CEO to fulfil all duties and responsibilities for the proper governance and leadership of the organisation

The role requires a creative, commercial and entrepreneurial approach, someone who has inspirational leadership qualities, experience of developing and implementing strategy, as well as someone who can take responsibility for high level risk management. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the organisation to deliver an excellent service, and to promoting bilingualism.
