Job Title: Workshop Supervisor – Joinery
Location: You will be principally working at the company’s workshop in Bethnal Green E2, as well as making deliveries across London
Salary: £33,000 per annum

About the Company:
Established in 2021 Benjamin’s Workshop Ltd is a dynamic and growing bespoke cabinetry joinery company based in Bethnal Green E2. In three years the company has grown a full-time team of 1 to 10, and has swiftly become established amongst the most in-demand workshops in East London.
The company provides bespoke fitted furniture to residential and commercial projects across London. Primarily we supply kitchens, wardrobes, commercial cabinetry as well as other bespoke joinery items. Our client base consists of professionals; established designers, main contractors – as well as high end users.
We are a team of 10 with Managing Director, Administrator, CAD designer, Head Joiner, Workshop Team of 5, and also Accounts.
About the role:
In a nutshell:
Workshop Supervisor is a crucial support role within Benjamin’s Workshop as we continue to grow and increase workshop capacity with more, and larger, projects.
Workshop Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation of the workshop runs smoothly, creating a productive environment for the company’s joinery team. The key areas of responsibility are as follows
Workshop:
- Inventory; ensure the workshop is well stocked with essential supplies
- Maintenance; complete upkeep tasks relating to the space and machines
- Organisation; keep the space clean and well organised
Deliveries:
- Wrap joinery ahead of delivery
- Prepare installation kits and joinery packages for deliveries
- Make deliveries to sites across London
Storage:
- Move finished joinery to the company’s storage facility
- Keep the storage facility well organised
Vehicle:
- Keep company van clean and well maintained
- Take the van for servicing and MOT as required
Skills and attributes Required:

- Good ability on spreadsheet software
- Ability to switch focus as you move through tasks
