The Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to thrive and develop in this field. You might be the person that everyone goes to for help when their tech isn’t working, you could already be working in IT or looking to move into IT.
Part of a team of 10 engineers, the Junior Engineer role is based within our close-knit team in the Steeton office.
This is a great opportunity to get a foothold into the industry, to learn on the job and to develop through certifications.
Our projects include:
- On and Offshore renewables.
- Cabling infrastructure.
- Network infrastructure.
- Network security.
- CCTV / ANPR camera estates.
About the Role:
Supporting senior engineers, you will learn the ropes and be exposed to project and support work. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to get stuck into a technical role and progress.
Your day-to-day work will primarily be carrying out technical project tasks including configuring and troubleshooting network and camera equipment, rack installation, cabling and technical documentation.
You won’t always be in the office though as this role will require visits to customer sites with senior engineers to install the equipment you have helped to configure. Part of your role will be working with the Projects Team to help keep track of kit for projects needed within the Engineering Team.

About you
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance and Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV3).
- You will have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
