Job Title: Building Safety Asset Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: £59,850 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025.

The Vacancy:

We’re looking for an approachable and commercially aware Building Safety Asset Manager to join our Asset Management Team. You’ll use your collaboration and communication skills to manage a small, dedicated team and work closely with our Head of Asset Management and other Asset Managers.

You’ll ensure we deliver a comprehensive building safety service that meets all regulatory and legislative requirements across our homes whilst putting our customers at the forefront of all that we do.

In this role, you’ll need to provide full assurance by taking the lead in having the right suppliers in place as well as effective performance management and reporting arrangements. This means you’ll need knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Commercial awareness
  • Proven programme management expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A team leadership approach that encourages excellent performance
  • A positive approach to collaborative working
  • Excellent IT skills including Asset Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Building Safety and regulatory requirements relating to customers’ homes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of what makes an excellent service for customers.
